The Roseridge Waste Management Center is a Class II Landfill [Alberta Environment Approval #47061-03-00] and a Class I composting facility serving residential and commercial users.

Roseridge works to reduce the amount of material sent to landfill through recycling, resource recovery, reuse and organics diversion, while providing safe, regulated disposal for waste that cannot be recovered.

Before Your Visit

Roseridge RFID permit card

Bring Your Permit Card

Bring your physical Roseridge RFID access card with you when you visit. Need a new or replacement card? Your local municipal office can help.

A photo of your card or permit number on your phone can’t be used for entry.

Sort Your Load

Keep garbage, recycling, metal, wire, brush, concrete and other recoverable materials separate where possible. Sorting before you arrive makes unloading easier and helps keep recoverable material out of the landfill.

Secure Your Load

Use a tarp, straps or other appropriate means to prevent material from blowing, spilling or falling from your vehicle or trailer. All loads must be secured while travelling to Roseridge. (Sturgeon County Bylaw 1278/12)

Minimum Load Charge

A minimum load charge of 125 kg applies to each trip. Loads weighing less than 125 kg will be charged at the 125 kg minimum.

Check Before Bringing Special Materials

Some materials require special preparation, handling or approval. If you are unsure whether Roseridge accepts something or how it should be prepared, call 780-939-5678 before you load it.
