Efficient, Responsible Waste Diversion & Composting

The Roseridge Waste Management Center is a Class II Landfill [Alberta Environment Approval # 47061-03-00] and a Class I composting facility, serving both residential and commercial users. Our mission is to reduce landfill waste by diverting recyclable and compostable materials while ensuring safe, regulated disposal of non-recyclable waste.

Residual Waste Processing – Secure, regulated waste disposal

Reuse Centre – Accepting bicycles, gardening tools, sports equipment (excluding protective gear and underclothing), wood furniture, gently used construction materials, and home repair tools

RFID Access Cards at Roseridge

Roseridge Waste Commission transitioned from traditional paper passes to RFID access cards several years ago to improve efficiency and customer experience at the facility. These contactless cards allow for quicker and more convenient entry, reducing wait times and streamlining the waste disposal process.

Residents must obtain their RFID access card from their local municipal office before using the facility. Ensure you have your card ready upon arrival to gain access. For more information on obtaining or replacing a card, contact your municipality’s administration office.

All loads must be secured (Sturgeon County Bylaw 1278/12)
