About the Role
Scale Operators provide front line customer service and ensure accurate load processing at the Roseridge site. This role balances public interaction with technical accuracy in a busy office environment.
Responsibilities
■ Respond to public inquiries in person and by phone ■ Screen incoming loads for eligible and ineligible waste ■ Process payments and issue receipts ■ Use scale software to record vehicle weights ■ Provide clear and respectful guidance on disposal procedures ■ Direct vehicles to appropriate segregation areas
Qualifications
■ Strong communication skills and professional phone manner ■ Comfortable using computers and standard office equipment ■ Strong interpersonal skills ■ Ability to work in a team environment ■ Comfortable working in a busy office setting
