About the Role
Reporting to the Director of Operations, this role supports the day-to-day delivery of Roseridge programs, coordinates community outreach efforts, and helps keep our operations running smoothly. The successful candidate will take on a range of duties from customer support and event coordination to site audits and program tracking — all with the goal of helping residents and member municipalities divert more and waste less.
The key responsibilities will include:
■ Implementing waste and diversion plans to reduce waste and encourage participation ■ Coordinating community outreach programs and events promoting our programs and services ■ Customer service representative to act as liaison with customers and service providers ■ Site and building maintenance supervision
Qualifications
■ Bachelor’s degree in environmental studies or a related field, along with one to three years of experience in the waste industry ■ Expertise in program planning, development, and implementation ■ Proven leadership and supervisory skills ■ Proficient in computer applications ■ Willing to work independently and make routine decisions regarding ongoing operations
Conditions of Employment
■ The successful applicant will be required to obtain a satisfactory police information check. ■ An Alberta Class 5 Driver’s Licence and access to a personal vehicle for business use are required ■ Willingness and ability to take industry-specific training courses
