Use your green cart for food scraps and yard and garden trimmings. Sorting material right helps Roseridge produce high-quality Re-Source Premium Compost for use throughout our region.
Keep it simple: food scraps and yard and garden trimmings go in.
Manufactured packaging stays out—even when labelled compostable, biodegradable, plant-based, natural, sustainable or eco-friendly.
Most of this packaging can go in regular recycling starting Oct. 1, 2026.
Please keep these common contaminants out:
Bathroom and pet waste belong in the black cart.
When you are unsure about an item, call Roseridge at 780-939-5678.
Residents can bring accepted yard and garden trimmings to the resident drop-off areas at the Roseridge Waste Management Center.
The Center is located just east of Morinville.
The yard waste bins are located at the end of the household waste bins.
Accepted material includes grass clippings, leaves, flowers, plants, garden trimmings and small twigs.
Please keep plastic bags, soil, pet waste, weeds, string, twine and other contaminants out of the yard waste bins.
