Located just inside the gates of the Roseridge Waste Management Center, ahead of the scale, the Community Resource Zone gives residents of Roseridge’s six member municipalities free access to useful materials that might otherwise go to waste.
Residents can take available field stones, firewood and pallets at no cost — and bring suitable materials for others to use. The Community Resource Zone is also where residents can pick up Roseridge Re-Source Premium Category A Compost for home garden use.
Bring suitable materials for others, or take what you can use at no cost.
Have field stones you no longer need? Bring them to the Community Resource Zone for another resident to use.
Residents looking for stones for gardens, landscaping and other projects are welcome to take what is available at no cost.
Bring some. Take some.
Usable firewood can be left in the Community Resource Zone rather than disposed of as waste.
Residents are welcome to take available firewood at no cost for home use.
Because the program depends on what residents bring in, quantities and sizes will vary.
Good, reusable pallets still have plenty of life left in them.
Residents can leave suitable pallets in the Community Resource Zone for others to reuse, or take available pallets at no cost for their own projects.
Please only leave pallets that are in suitable condition for reuse.
Residents of Roseridge member municipalities can pick up Roseridge Re-Source Premium Category A Compost at no cost for home garden use.
Bring your own container and shovel and self-load what you need from the Community Resource Zone during regular operating hours.
Re-Source is a locally produced, high-quality Category A compost that can be used to enrich garden soil, improve soil structure and add organic matter.
